Tips for Jaleesa
• Verify your site with google search console. Follow these instructions.
This task is best for you to do because it requires your google login.
• If you are Multilingual - Weglot is a website translation plugin that offers one free language on any SQSPS site.
• Google is an algorithm, not a human! It has some really particular preferences, down to the exact character count of page titles and descriptions, As you grow, try and think of designing the web pages for your clients, and the SEO titles/descriptions/url slugs for Google.
SEO Basics Cheat Sheet
SEO titles = Exactly 50 to 60 characters
SEO Descriptions = Exactly 150 to 60 characters
Image Sizes = Under 250kb
Urls = 3 to 6 words in length
Ensure there are ample words on each page! Sneak some words into your simpler pages (events, blogs and products dont actually count as words on the main page - so take some time to write a little intro paragraph at the top, or at the bottom of the page to highlight some information.
